We are fortunate to have several Life Coaches and Business Coaches who are IRN members.
The ones listed below have agreed to hold a series of monthly discussion sessions on a variety of professional and personal development areas using a call-in format. Initial areas will include Goal Setting and Time Management. Calls will be the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm.
The Coaches Corner is a new benefit of your IRN membership. These call-in events are free to IRN members. The Coaches Corner is designed to help you move towards your Goals and find the time to do it!
The Coaches Corner was created to add an additional benefit to the members of IRN. Lisa Pustelak currently hosts this call. It is held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. The call is intended to help members improve both their professional and personal lives. Lisa has volunteered her time to this program offering it at no charge to members and want to ensure that it’s a valuable tool. While it’s still a fairly new program, we would like to give you some additional information regarding the intention of the call and also get some feedback from you. At the end of the day, it is all about YOU!! For many people, coaching is a new concept, and there are some misconceptions about what it is and what it is not. Let’s start with what it is not. A coach will not tell you what to do with your business or life, so any technical questions are outside of the focus of these calls. If there is a specific issue such as how to set up a website, employee law, how to fire someone, etc., that is best directed to a professional in an appropriate field, and there is a good chance that those professionals can be found in IRN chapters, so help is around the corner, just not on the coaching call. The coaching call is designed to help you figure out answers to questions such as how to prioritize your time, set goals that are in line with your values, figure out what next steps to take if you are unsure of a direction to take in your business or your life in general. Coaches ask clarifying, powerful questions that help you find your own answers, rather than tell you what is best for you to do. Coaches will also help you to set objectives and timelines to help you move forward in reaching your goals. The hope is also that by having several people on a call, participants will be able to help each other, with the guidance of the coaches. With these guidelines in mind, we hope you will take advantage of these coaching calls in order to move your business and your life forward. The initial focus will be on time strategies and setting goals, but we would like feedback and suggestions on topics of interest to you. Calls are suspended for the summer.
